This past fall I had the opportunity to Photograph for Watts Electric in Waverly, NE. The goal was to photograph different crews throughout the midwest. The Watts employees worked in all weather conditions and into the evening, which gave me even more of an appreciation of this industry.

The projects I was involved with consisted of documenting the installation of lighting on Eppley Airfield’s runway and taxiway, but I also found myself on busy highways and interstates where the crews were installing overhead sign structures, poles, and fiber to help with the AMBER alerts throughout the midwest when traffic and climate become worse. My mission as a commercial photographer for this project was to tell the story of these guys on any given day.
